“All the world’s a stage..”.. on it are all different kind of plays, continuously. Everyone and everything on this planet plays his part as an actor, decor or attribute. Look around, take your time and you’ll see drama, thriller, action, comedy all around you. I try to capture a few on the spot, where others serve as inspiration for staged photography.

In my images I like to create stories. Inspired by art, film, theater, storytelling and … life it self.

In 2012, the love for Theater photography began when I started to photograph in theater for the Academy for Theatre and Dance Amsterdam, Scenography.

Photographing dynamics, emotions and tensions of performance and scenography.

As photographer I am self-taught. Previous I worked in television production, decorated opera stage sets, studied acting and played, as actor, on stage and camera; it is all about creating stories and visualisations.

Whether I stand behind a camera, in front or … aside. With pleasure I help other creatives to accomplish their production. Although many photographers work by their own, I am convinced that teamwork is essential to reach creative altitudes.

I enjoy working with creative people. It inspires me, makes me smile. Therefore my goal is to work with as many other creatives, for productions … all over the world (if possible), creating beautiful images and inspire others.
